Discover the Islands

Salt
The island of Sal welcomes visitors with its white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, ideal for relaxation and water sports like windsurfing and kitesurfing. Here you'll find luxury resorts, trendy restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife. The most European of all, it's a popular tourist destination.

Santiago
Santiago is the largest of the archipelago's islands and also the most densely populated. Praia, the capital of Cape Verde, a cosmopolitan and modern city, is the seat of government: Parliament and all ministries are located here.

Fogo
Fogo is dominated by the majestic active volcano Pico do Fogo, which offers spectacular hikes and breathtaking panoramic views. The island is also famous for its fine wines and its unique agricultural culture, characterized by excellent coffee.

Saint Vincent
São Vicente is famous for its fantastic carnival and vibrant music scene, with events and festivals celebrating traditional Cape Verdean rhythms and new trends. The main city, Mindelo, is a cultural destination with art, history, and a vibrant atmosphere.

Santo Antão
Santo Antão is a paradise for hikers, with scenic trails through lush valleys, towering mountains, and picturesque rural villages. Here, you can immerse yourself in pristine nature and discover incredible views at every turn.

Good
Brava is the smallest and quietest island in Cape Verde, with a landscape characterized by green hills, fertile valleys, and rocky coastlines. Here you'll find peace, tranquility, and a warm welcome, ideal for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

São Nicolau
At the time of its discovery, it was rich in water and vegetation. Progressive droughts have transformed it into an island of contrasts, with wild, barren, and mountainous landscapes interspersed with verdant valleys and quaint villages. Authentic and welcoming, it will charm you.

May
Maio immediately conveys a sense of tranquility, and here "noise" seems like a foreign word. Around the small villages stretch enchanting beaches of fine white sand lapped by clear, warm waters year-round.
The Cape Verde archipelago, a jewel that enchants travelers.
Crumbs scattered in the Atlantic Ocean, 500 km from the African coast, a 3 and a half hour flight from Fortaleza, Brazil, and 1,500 km from the Canary Islands.
Ten volcanic islands, nine of which are inhabited, each with its own unique character, Cape Verde offers an irresistible mix of endless beaches, spectacular mountains, and vibrant resorts. The islands' identity is the product of African, European, and Brazilian influences, reflected in their music, dance, and exquisite Creole cuisine.
With a mild climate year-round and the warm welcome of its inhabitants—Morabeza, an untranslatable word that encapsulates Cape Verdean courtesy and hospitality—Cape Verde is the ideal destination for outdoor adventures, beach relaxation, or simply a regenerating break from everyday life.
Each island is a world unto itself and offers unique experiences. Some islands are still almost unreachable today, while others deserve a few days of slow exploration. I love Boavista offers one- or two-week tours, covering two or more islands, for those who love to explore the authentic soul of each place while traveling.
