In the second half of August, Boa Vista hosts an important Cape Verdean music festival with local and international artists. Just before that, there is the one in Baia das Gatas, on the island of S. Vicente, perhaps the most famous, and others before and after on the different islands. The one in Boa Vista is a very popular event that sees many people from the other islands of the archipelago and many passionate tourists. To be experienced barefoot on the sand on the beautiful beach of Praia da Cruz with concerts that start at sunset on Friday and continue all night, then starting again on Saturday afternoon and until Sunday morning, and beyond, you dance, you sing, you eat pinchos and you drink in the many corners set up. An immersive and fantastic experience.
